Event Operations Administrator -Internationally renowned Sports organisation - £30-32k
We are currently working with a sport governing body that is looking to hire an Events Operations Administrator on a full time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that is looking to grow and develop the sport worldwide. It is an exciting time to join as they are focusing on promoting the International Team and individual events throughout the World.
This is a key role within the organisation which requires an individual to coordinate all aspects of the administration on the major events. The successful applicant will be required to:
- Co-ordinate site visits with National Associations and Sponsors
- Control the financial accounts in the area of responsibility and submit an annual budget
- Work closely with the Manager to ensure the Events assistants workload is coordinated correctly
- Act as a main point of contact for Sponsors and Partners
- Assist with training of junior staff
Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need the following experience:
- Event organisation & administration experience within sport
- People Management
- Planning skills
- Decision making and delegation
- Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation
- Commercial awareness
- Team player
